I'm on the west coast of Florida, near Tampa. According to the map we should begin having effects as early as this evening. Right now, the sun is shining and not a leaf is blowing. With hurricanes, we have plenty of warning, and there is no reason not to be prepared.

I still get a bit of a knot in my stomach when that forecast comes along. When Charlie and all the other hurricanes hit Florida a few years ago, we were like in a protected area, with no bad effects.

Time will tell...tomorrow's another day. Thanks for your concern.

I'm on the west coast of Florida, near Tampa. According to the map we should begin having effects as early as this evening. Right now, the sun is shining and not a leaf is blowing. With hurricanes, we have plenty of warning, and there is no reason not to be prepared.

I still get a bit of a knot in my stomach when that forecast comes along. When Charlie and all the other hurricanes hit Florida a few years ago, we were like in a protected area, with no bad effects.
