Hello:
I have a daughter with CF who is pancreatic sufficient. The problem is she goes to the bathroom (poop) three to four times a day....is this normal with CF? Anyone have this issue or can shed some light on this? Thank you.
I am pan. suff. too and I have CF. I am 27 and have never had to use enzymes. I can easily poop 3-4 times a day. (Kind of depends on what I eat too) I am 150 lbs. so I'm obviously not pooping everything out. So I think it's ok for me. I just have a hyper colon!

Same thing here; I'm 21 and have always been pan. suff. - never had to take enzymes or anything. I usually poop at least 3x a day, but I'm about 150lbs also, so it's not all going out <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
I would have the doctors reconsider the pancreatic sufficient part! You don't have to be underweight to be malabsorbing. I had awful problems, was in the bathroom atleast once after every meal and then started on enzymes and don't have those problems! I didn't need them weight wise but otherwise they are making a big difference in a lot of ways.
I don't know how old your daughter is but if she's too young she might be in pain from her stomach and just not able to tell you or if she's older doesn't want to tell you
