hey all
I've been having a pain in my upper back on the left side for quite some time now (I'm talking like a month, maybe more). I thought it was a pulled muscle from coughing or something like that but it hasn't gone away. I've been wheezing A LOT in my left lung since I noticed the pain (maybe more). Sometimes with coughing fits a ton of stuff comes up that feels like it came primarily from my left lung, and sometimes nothing will budge (it's all colorless though). Could this be a partial collapse even though it's hurt for a while now? I wouldn't say the pain is excrutiating or anything. It's dull and kind of annoying, especially when I cough. I only get some temporary relief when I take Ibuprofen or use a heating pad. I'm going to make a doctor's appt soon, but I just wanted some input on whether or not this is a typical feeling and you all think it could be atelectasis or if it's just a pulled muscle kind of issue like I originally thought.
