All I can say is that my daughters PFT's have been between 60 and 70 and other times between 90 and 100 and she's doing great! Never hospitalized and x-rays always look good.
I don't know your child's age & am not sure that a certain "age" should have a certain lung function. I believe that normal is anyplace between 80% and 120%.
They start to mention thinking of transplant when the FEV1 percentage is around 30%.
