For those of you who don't know, I had a new port placed on Tuesday. I was allowed to keep the old port as a souvenir, and so in the interest of education and knowledge-sharing, I thought I'd share the pictures with you. Don't worry, it's nothing too racy or gross. Quite tame in fact.

I have my port placed in my upper arm, but I would guess, mine is smaller, without that whole white plastic part around it. It is a port for children as far as I now.

From the photo it's hard to tell, but the thing really isn't as tall as it appears. It's only about 1/2 inch tall. Mine hardly was visible as a bump on my skin at all.
