My doctor never told me that us cfers can get kidney stones from cf. I just wanted to remind you all to drink lots of water to avoid what I am dealing with. I have a 1cm stone in my kidney, which is huge. I did the ultra sonic waves surgery 2 weeks ago and the stone didnt break up. They put me under for 2 hours and when I woke up from surgery, I was coughing like crazy. I have a doc apt tomorrow to see what the next round is, Im sure another surgery, but this kidney stone is getting the best of me.

I'm sorry to hear you've got stones, they sound like an.... adventure, to say the least. Let us know how you resolve it.
This reminds me, when I was taking anatomy as a course we got to the kidneys and of course talked about kidney stones, and you'd look across the room and eeeeeeveryone was grabbing their water to drink xD. So if regular ol' people are worried, we need to be careful too!

One thing that we do not realize is that in normal sleep through normal respiration we expel a large volume of water. Just think what us CF's do with labored breathing and such.
Always drink a large glass of water in the AM along with some sea salt.
