Please help ASAP with overheating and teacher!

We adopted our 4 1/2 yr daughter with CF; her bio mom took drugs/drank during pregnacy. Because of this, she has "processing" issues (possible ADHD too) so I can't tell her what to/ not to do before taking her to school. She is in a special education pre-k class. I have told teachers over and over to make her sit down when they go outside if she won't "slow down". She is SICK NOW!! She is overheating and her whole body is red and she is "out of it". I don't know how she keeps going. She's like the energizer bunny and I am afraid that she is just going to colapse one day. I have been told that she won't listen and it's not fair for her to watch the others play while she sit's. The bus driver and bus aid are VERY upset and have also said something. The school office has said something to the teacher too, and they get the same response as I do. I am now picking her up before recess to avoid this. I feel this is WRONG!! Any suggestions? Has anyone had problems with teachers before? Because of her birthday, we have one more year with this teacher! She really needs this class(includes therapy) because of her other issues.

Does it help if she's allowed to have a drink and a salty snack? Every summer we remind DS' preschool about making sure he gets those things. He LOVES playing outside and we feel it's important that he get excercise, too.

They usually give him his own water bottle and bring along saltines. When he was younger he wouldn't slow down enough and needed to be reminded, but usually he'll let his needs be known and will even ASK for salt.

I would ask the administrator exactly who is in control here, them or the teacher? I had to go as far as getting a court order once to get the schools attention, and it worked and solved all the problems permanently, a little extreme but sometimes you do what you have to. Before going to that extreme though, I would ask the CF team to talk with the teacher and administration. I know that our CF team is always very willing to accommodate and even send scripts with orders for the school if necessary. It would be nice if you didn't have to go to such extremes, but it is worth it if it fixes the issue. Your childs health is the priority!

Maybe you could bring a printout for both the principle and the teacher that explains why this is so important. Also, the water and salty snack during recess seems like a good idea too. That way she could take a break and rest and get some water and salt in her all at the same time.

I would also assume that at this special needs school, there are teacher's aids/helpers (my friends' daughters have CP, and went to a special needs school at that age), and perhaps one of them could be assigned to make sure she takes her break and has her snack at recess, and to keep her company while she does that? If that's not possible, maybe you could go at recess yourself for her snack break, if it is "doable" for your schedule.
