Poop Question - Sorry if it is TMI

My son is being tested in two weeks and I am curious about the way he poops. He is 2 and he poops a lot. I have been emptying his diapers in the toilet and they do not float. Is it the size of the poops/ or the sink or float thing that is indicative? I know I sound cray but I am very unsure. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I dont know if it is the size they look at but i know that if they float, there is too much fat not being absorbed which would mean he needs enzymes. If they are greasy that would also indicate he is in need of enzymes. If they are normal than he may be pancreatic sufficent, which would mean he is not in need of enzymes. I am no expert on this, so i hope this helped some.

DS' was formula fed and his poo never looked greasy. Sometimes it looked fluffy, like cake frosting, but still was formed. Never tried the float test. I will say that until we got his enzymes figure out he was a pooping machine. Sometimes I'd go thru 3 diapers just while changing him.

The poop test is what confirmed my fears while we where waiting on the results from the sweat test.
