I am new to this site so forgive me that I didn't know how to respond to my original post. I have had her checked for diabetes before, and only on occasion was her sugar high. Living in Arkansas in a rural community, we have to travel to Little Rock for our care, which is a CF care center, but we truly are feeling like our care has been being compromised for some reason or other. We've thought of going to Jackson, MS, but it's such a change. We already travel 3 1/2 hours just to see the docs in Little Rock. Laura has been on prednisone many times and always swelled, but this time, it's so much worse. I guess that's just a mothers worry. Thank you all for your comments. It's nice to know that there's somewhere we can go as families/patients and find support and share experiences. Thank you all.~Deborah
