pregnancy in cf women

Hi to everybody;
my name is elisa and I'm 26 years old, I have cf.
i'm italian.
My partner and me are looking for 4 months to have a child but for now without success. I have a middle situation of the illness.
my cf doctors told me about some risks of infertility because cervical mucus( I have a white dense mucus in my period).
I would like to know How much of you,in this forum, have looked for a pregnancy.
Do you check your cervical mucus. None of you to conceived with typical cf cervical mucus?
I hope that you tell me your experience

I have unusual cervical mucus. During ovulation it is rubber cement like when none cf women have egg white consistancy cervical mucus. That being said, I conceived in my first month of trying. I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant! I would suggest you use an ovulation predictor test to see if you are ovulating to rule that none cf related issue out. Are you underweight? I understand this can make it very difficult to get pregnant. After you are sure you are ovulating but still not getting pregnant I would consider the Robitussin method to thin your secretions. PM me if you want to chat more.

I have thick, cf typical cervical mucus. I got pregnant using the Robitussin method, on the second month of trying. I am almost 2 months along in my pregnancy.
Maybe look at your diet and weight and see if can be improved at all? Robitussin and Mucinex help alot.

I also conceived in a short time- 2 months. I bought an ovulation kit and it was great. You can try Robitussin- the regular kind- that can help thin cervical mucos.

I have a cycle of 26-28 days, this month I have tried to check the cervical mucus and to make ovulation sticks. I has not had mucus up the eleventh day of cycle, the 11th day of cycle sticks signalled a near ovulation,the 12th I have begun to have a lot of mucus( It was white and dense) the following days mucus was always white and dense but more liquid with a lot of lubrication.
What It means "rubber cement", sorry but I'm italian and I don't know all the american terms.
