Hi there,

Can someone please explain. I thought CF people couldn't get pregnant, I was married and the doctor Said we couldn't get pregnant but I see in here a lot of people do. Unfortunately he passed away already? I would still like to know how's that is possible.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your heart must just ache missing him.

Re your question. 99% of CF men are infertile, but scientifically it is possible to extra a sperm from the testicals and then do IVF. Not sure of the success rate for this procedure versus general IVF, which success rate varies by several factors. CF women may have more difficulty in getting pregnant, but aren't necessarily infertile.
