pricing of cromolyn sodium

Hi,

Thank you to everyone who told me where to find cromolyn.

Now I'm having a problem with the price.

Normally, we order a 90 day prescription through Medco. I am unable to get the cromolyn from Medco and will have to order it from the regular pharmacy.

With our insurance, we pay 50% of the medication cost from a retail pharmacy.

All of the pharmacies are quoting me at about $120.00 a month....$60.00 a month for us.

Is this the norm? I thought everyone was saying it was cheap because it was generic. On top of all of my other meds, an extra $60.00 is very expensive, especially when we're used to paying $25 or $50 for a three month supply!

Does anyone know how to obtain this medication any cheaper?
