Problems with exercise and chest physio.

I will be starting college in the fall, and i'm a little worried about my health. Although I haven't had any serious problems with my lungs in the past I can't seem to get my self to do any exercise or chest physio. I don't know what's wrong with me. I know what i need to do to be healthier, but I just can't seem to push my self to do it. I worry alot these days, and I make plans to start exercising to improve my health but last minute decide not to go through with it. It's like i can't accept my condition and what i need to do. And with the chest physio, since my lungs have never been an issue it's almost as if i pretend i don't need to do it when i know i do. Does anyone else find this is an issue for them? I'm worried that with college and all the stress of everything that i won't be able to get away with it anymore and run into some serious problems with my CF.

hi there jesswm. When I attended college, my parents made a deal with the collegiate health center. I WONT go on their insurance, if they would do PT on me 7 days a week. They ran the numbers and agreed to the deal. So, each week, I had a schedule of when I would go over to the health center. They were expecting me, it was an appointment, so I never missed. Make sure that you eat well at college too. I made it through college with very little deterioration. The following grad schools were another issue altogether though! You can probably get a medical reason for having a private room as a frosh, if that is important to you. It means you can stay on YOUR sleep schedule, study schedule, etc. It can make a huge different.
