Puffer vs. Neb Albuterol

Hey all...

I was reading the recent post on the albuterol recall and went to check my stash...only I didn't have any. OOOOOOPPPPPPSS!

Now I will have to do my AM nebs with the puffer instead. Have any of you ever done that? Do I just have to do it 15 minutes before? I can't remember, but I think that I used to do it this way when I first started the hypersal. I KNOW from experience that I have to do albuterol before Hypersal...crap!!

And I am completely OUT of albuterol, I hardly ever let it get THAT low before I refill. I guess I am lucky I have the puffer though.

When I run out of xopenex, I use my puffer... but I use it anywhere from 5-15 minutes beforehand... I kinda start the rest of the treatment, once I feel more opened up.

I HAVE to do something before HTS though, it is waaay to irritating w/o anything... and the puffer sometimes doesnt cut it, especially lately.

I hope this helps, though its just kinda what I do, not what my doc said or anything.

Yea I am the same way. I CAN'T do hts without something first.

Although, I did look online and my prescription was filled in November...but I don't ever remember receiving it, definitely going to have to look further.
