rash - bactrim or vfend (vorazidole)

Hi - Jason has been on Bactrim for over a month. He started vfend or vorazidole 2 1/2 weeks ago. He has also been on prednisone for over a month. He was down to 10 mg every other day of the steroid and he started with what looked like a sun burn. Now he has a rash on his arms and chest. Very splotchy and pink. not itchy. The dr's told me to stop the bactrim, try benedryl and see if any change. If his eyes start to feel funny or rash gets a lot worse to come in - check for stevens-johnson syndrome. I am in panic mode. Anybody have any similar circumstances. He doesn't want to be admitted again - he has been fighting bugs since April.

Adam is allergic to bactrim he would get like mosquito bites, he is also on vfend going on 8 months and actually does get sunburned. He has constant redness around his nose and cheeks.

Definetly be aware of stevens and johnson, my bosses mom died of that, the drs misdiagnosed and did not catch it in time.
