Religion and Illness. Where does your church stand?

It was wne of those big penacaustal(holy rollers churches, I cant spell the other word) churches. Now, your probably wondering, why was she going to a church like that in the first place? Well, when I first started attending I had hardly any problems with my cf. They would have one of those healing services and I would pray the people in the wheelchairs would get up and walk, and cry and pray and beg God, and they would'nt get up and I would think mabey they'll get better next time. I had many beliefs that were not strict bible beliefs at the time but I kept them to my self. during the 9 years I was there, I was just trying to make friends in the church and find out what I really believed in and where I stood with my faith with God. In the past year I had been thinking I should find another church, and when I had the problems I had that I wrote in my post, I figured God was giving me the hint to leave and find a place where I could get closer to him.

Hi Johanna, to PM someone, just click on the little person with the speech bubble (it's on the far right in the poster's message) or, go to the left on the bar in the forums where it sayd "Private messages" and click on that. Once you're in there, type in someone's name in the empty field, and a new text window will appear where you can type your message. Hope that helps
