You're right, there is a lot to relate to in that.

On a similar note, I want to encourage anyone who's struggling with addiction of any sort, to check out this blog and perhaps even buy the author's book. I have a copy and although I never battled substance abuse, it was still a valuable resource.

Those of you who missed this blog, should really read it. It was very interesting and well written. I too, think there are so many of you who can relate to what she went through--you may even be going through it right now...

Thank you for sharing and being honest.

Not only is the general public afraid to be honest (with themselves first and foremost), but more so is a CF'er when it comes to admitting their struggle with addictions. Being honest like this (in your blog, and I know there are others here who do the same), helps the ones that are afraid, to not be so afraid, and to be honest themselves...and that's the first step for recovery.

...and I'm included in that group that has had struggles in this area....
