My stupid blog isn't work, so I'm posting the update here.

Well, my test didn't go as well as I had hoped. It didn't go horribly - but it didn't go as well as I wanted. The score probably isn't as high as it needs to be to get into Stanford or Cal.

Well, if it's one thing that all us CFers know how to do, it's pull ourselves back up by the boot-straps once we've been knocked down.

I wouldn't say that today was a total face plant, but it was a little trip that made me lose my balance. But no issues - I've pulled myself back up many a time before, and this time will be no different.

So I'm not sure if I'm going to get a private tutor or just do some more solo studying . Either way, I will get a better score next time. You can count on it.

I'll keep you posted on my progress. And thank you all so very much for your support.

Amy, this happens to alot of people-but your spirit is great! That's why I keep coming back to this site-the way you all react to setbacks-it's so inspiring. It's a disappointment, I know, but you've come this far. Just take a deep breath and you'll be able to do better next time. I love how you're already thinking of solutions to your problem. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you'll be able to blog soon. Good luck with your plans.

Great Attitude Amy, I am sorry it didn't go as well as you would have liked. I am studying for my state boards right now. I have been studying for them really since I started school and the thought of having to go to Atlantic City and take this test makes me dizzy, so I know all the stress and hard work you have to put into these type of things.

This week I am starting a class at one of the local universities to do a reveiw course, do they have anything like that by you? I am also doing CD roms that I bought that have thousands of questions on them.

I know you are going to kick butt next time you take this test....

Thanks for telling us the update....

I am sorry it didnt go as well as you hoped. My husband is having problems passing the 2nd test to get his Permanent Teaching Certificate. Its frustrating as hell, but he never loses his determination with each score than is below passing! Bear down & charge ahead!

And just why didn't you patrol the story about someone's cat section????

I didn't see your "this is OT" there!!!!!

And I think my post is CF related, by the way, because many CFers have determination because of the nature of the disease.

I am showing how my CF has helped teach me to not give up.

Neener. Neener. and Neener.

Yes I agree with you, the cat thing should be in OT as well, but as it happens, this was the only topic I got to reply to before I got cut off. I really don't think this has anything to do with cf though. And such, it bumps another cf topic onto the next page. Anyway, I was just making the point that this=OT, thus should be in OT. Sorry if you got offended, but I like others like to see topics catagorized properly!!! I hope you'll agree with me on that!

Amy I'm sure that with a little more hard work, you'll get the results that you need and want. After all, you are my American half. You can do it!
