smell of mucus

I'll go first. Most of the time my mucus doesn't smell. Lately though it smells like male ejaculation (tried to use nice language :) What is the similar chemical component and does this mean it's a certain type of infection brewing? Anyone else notice this or have other "aromas" they'd like to comment on.

Hadn't noticed a smell with ds. He really isn't "mucousy" yet.

I will say that I did have a real difficult time stomaching the new aquaAdeks vitamin drops because the smell reminded me of when my non-cfer niece used to get really, gnarly sinus infections.

Oh and I don't want to hear any wise arse responses regarding inhalation of any said material. LOL. Ah I miss the days of anon posting this would have been a good one for that.
