stomach aches and weight loss

So I was having major stomach issues which were bloating and major gas so went in for ultrasound to see if gallstones and that came out as a no. Started to stop drinking milk and found the stomach issues went away. So doc said it is highly probable I am lactose intolerant. So started with Lactaid Pills whenever I eat dairy. I thought this was the answers cause the bloating and gas went away for a several weeks but now I am back to having stomach aches! I have not as bad gas and bloating but my stomach hurts like a stomach ache. I have regular good bm's. But I am also loosing weight which has been going on for awhile but lung function is stable and lung wise I actually feel great! These stomach issues are a killer. Any suggestions on what to do, what it is, should I see a GI doc? Lung wise I feel good and clear and PFT is at baseline, weight is WAY down and so many GI problems. I am also diabetic if that means anything. I do not take an antacid cause I do not have any reflux, but is that the answer????

Thanks

Edit: Doc said to use Prilosec 1-2 times a day. Anyone have success with this?

Hmm when I was younger I started having belly ache after belly ache and we went for a few ultrasounds. Turns out I had portal hypertension of my liver, so I was put on actigol (or ursodiol) and then a few years later, I was put on pantorazol - acid reflux med, b/c my enlarged liver was pushing up the acid, even though I had no symptoms of reflux it made a big difference.

Also the weight loss could mean that your insulin needs to be adjusted? Maybe. Just throwing anything out there I can think of.

Good luck.
