Are sweaty palms a characteristic of cystic fibrosis? I guess it is. How many of you have sweaty palms all day?

I don't know if it's a charastic, but I have that problem all the time. It's the worse for job interviews cause after you're like... actually... I'd rather not shake your hand.. and I think you'll soon find out why. I know I saw on the news youc an get botox treatments and it stops excessive sweating, if i was rich i'd look into it cause it does get annoying quite a bit... the same goes with my feet

It could just be excessive sweating, because a lot of us CFers seem to have that problem. But there is a condition know as Hyperhidrosis where they can use things like Botox injections or surgery to help try and fix the problem. Here's some info:

Can I relate! In winter, my hands are either cold or sweaty. It does get embarrassing, especially when you have to shake hands with someone. Sometimes I get out of shaking hands by stating that I have a cold and don't want to give the other person a cold too.
Could it be from bad blood circulation?

advice for anyone with sweat problems. DO NOT HAVE SURGERY. i am begging you. i almost had this surgery done because my hyperhidrosis is absolutely shocking. it took ages for me to decide whether to go through with it. then i came across this site. the truth about ets well reading this changed my mind in an instant. not to mention the vascular surgeon told me outright that i will DEFINATELY have compensatory sweating. the side effects of the operation are so bad that people have commited suicide over it. sweden has even banned this procedure its that bad, even though they developed it in the first place. please please please, no one get it done. it is such a huge gamble. i realised that even if you sweat huge amounts, its a normal process so dont stop it! after reading the torment people have gone through i dont mind sweating like a pig.
