Tee Tree oil

I came across this info in the CF Trust forum, no link unfortunately, there is a research programme from Ireland that is suggesting that Tee tree oil in very small concentrations can increase the resistance of MRSA bugs, and considering the amount of shampoos, body lotions and so on that have tee tree as a ingredient, then using them, esp in hospitals could be counter productive. The amounts seem to be less than 4% concentration, and since they dont have the % of ingredient on the bottles you have no way of knowing what you are using.

Does this make sense? I will try and find a link.

Thank you for this article. I am going to do some further research on this. I use a tea tree oil product about twice a month so I am safe. Very interesting. I wonder what other bugs we would be at risk for?
