I do not know if anyone here would know the answer to my question, but I figured I would try anyway. I am a 23 year old male with a very mild case of Cystic Fibrosis (only hospitalized twice in the passed 10 years) and very infrequently have any problems. I could be in better health but that is not due to Cystic Fibrosis so much as it is my laziness, although I am trying to fix that. I am currently a college student looking for opportunities in careers that would allow me to work in third world countries hands on in order to help those less fortunate. The Peace Corps appears to be the perfect fit for what I would want to do, but they do say that CF is one of the conditions the are typically unable to accommodate. Does anyone know anything about the Peace Corps and CF? Would working in a third world country be possible with CF? I would assume as long as you have a generator or electricity, it would be possible since I would still be able to use my medications and exercise regularly. Any information that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!
