There was a wonderful CF awareness story this morning on The Today Show. It was about a 13 year old girl and her Laps for CF fundraiser. I thought it was a good segment. If you missed it and would like to see it, you can view it on The Today Show (msnbc) web site.
I was so nice to see! It had me in tears! Emily reminds me alot of Courtney. Courtney was diagnosed at the age of 10 and is now 13. Emily was diagnosed at 9 and is now 13.
WOW!! Emily is from Alabama....that is where we are from too!!
The doctor on the interview is actually my sons pulmonoligist at clinic! That was a total suprise. So glad I watched that. Thanks for letting us know about it!

my dad just sent that to me in an e-mail it was really neat. i saw it on msnbc.
i wanted to cry it was so touching, because of her high hopes for everything. its true though like they said in the video less people are aware of CF. and it made me think about my school, and how clueless everyone actually is.
Just happened to turn on the tv to do DS's CPT the other morning out at my in-laws lake cabin JUST when they happened to be airing this. Was sooo exciting. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
