Just great...
I think I mentioned I've been having fevers every now & again.
Well, it's gone from 'every now & again' to, 'way too frequent'. In fact, I had a fever last Saturday & Sunday both. I called my CF doctor today & he told me to go to the E.R. STAT. I told his nurse 'No'.
If I went to the local E.R.- all they would do is prep me for a helicopter ride to Phoenix. I'm still paying for the last one.
If it was a real emergency, I would do as he asked. I don't feel bad today so I don't see any reason why this can't wait until tomorrow. I
think the fever is being caused by the liver problem(s). I guess we'll find out.
Tomorrow, Becky & I will jump into my Lil' Blue truck & go to PHX.
We'll have a good lunch somewhere before I go check into the hospital; sort of a 'Last Supper'.
I guess I'll update these little musings when there is something to report.
In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy my last night at home for God knows how long.
