today's office visit

i hate office visits. they are a reality check i'd like to avoid but can't afford miss.

my baseline FEV1 is 59%. it was 23% in the hospital in april. it was 47% today. it improved but not much.

they expect to be able to bring me up close to my baseline. in your experience, has aggressive treatment with antibiotics ever brought your FEV1 up much?

I think we all dread those office visits.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I think that's a pretty significant improvement from April, but I know what you mean...you were hoping to be at, near or above the 59%, right?

My FEV1 went up slightly when I added daily Zithromax to my regimen and also when I started walking it increased slightly.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
