Tongue rings and Inhalers?

Okay, So first off I want to say that I used to be a not-so-much frequent poster on these boards, my name was 'littlepinkstar', I forgot my password and my old email, so I made a new name Otherwise it was too much of a hassle. But to get to my point...

I looked around at previous posts on this topic, and I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.. so I am asking you for myself :]

I recently got my tongue pierced, and at the moment in time, I really wasn't thinking about my health. I have many piercings, and have had many body modifications, and I've never really had problems with them. This is my second oral piercing aside my 'monroe'. What I want to know is, if you take Advair/Albuterol/etc.. will it effect a new tongue piercing? Is there any additional after-care tips I should use while taking my Advair, besides just gargling/rinsing my mouth out with water, then mouthwash?

I would hate for some of the powder to get stuck in the piercing site and have a infection set in... Ouch.

Well that's all... Haha, sorry to be a bother with a post almost identical with others.

I would say just treat it the same way you are told to treat food - use a good mouthwash right after. I had a tongue ring for a while in college and I probably used listerine 10-20x a day, my teeth were the cleanest they've ever been in my life. Just rinse well, brush if you feel like you have to, and try not to aggravate the new piercing too much til it's well healed - I mean don't eat croutons or harsh foods. Don't skip your meds! And try to eat cold things like ice cream, it helps the swelling.

welcome back~
