Well, we found a way to add some more excitement to life.

Our son w/Hemophilia hit his head this morning and it is still bleeding after 2 treatments. (FYI, he is/should be fine this happens sometimes.)

Hemotologist has ordered head CT-ASAP to confirm all is ok. However, I'm with our cystic inpatient and wife is 9mth pregnant so she can't do CT scan.

SO:

Friend is driving to our house to watch kids 1-5.
Wife is coming to hosptial room to watch kid #6 (cf).
Dad is then going downstairs to ER for head CT with #7.

I need an emoticon for pulling my hair out!!!!!!!

Yes, but I FOUND child #6's medical insurance cards that have been missing for 2 months. Which, considering the fact that no one could find him in the Medicaid system despite it continuing to pay out for his needs, that's a good thing.

And, since you accused me of overreacting because I'm a MOM and saying the knot on the bleeder's head is not that big...Its 2.25"x2.25"x.5". Last I checked, that's HUGE!!! He looks like a Klingon gone wrong.

Just waiting for the friend to show up for the other 5 kids so I can head into the ER with the child who thought it would be fun to bounce his head off a doorframe to entertain his toddler sister!!!

Sounds like there's never a dull moment at your house! Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping there isn't any more similar excitement happening with your family. Especially being a firm believer in Murphy's Law....
