Tornadoes and flash floods

Wow, I'm sitting here surrounded by tornadoes and flash floods! The power is off at my daughter's work--less than 9 miles from here. 'Tis the season of tornadoes here. So far they are staying to the edge of Des Moines--but we have very bad flash flooding. Yay Mother Nature--she rules, and us petty humans can only watch in wonder!

I'm ok, trees are down all over the place and the creeks are flooding--some roads are closed, and some are without electricity. Demelza lost her electricity at her shop, and she said the creek by her work was overflowing its banks. I saw a hugh tree across someones car, as I was going to pick up the kids. It's summer in Iowa!!!
