Genetic labs can take a while longer than two weeks. I thought it was two weeks too when my son was born a few months ago. We also knew the genes to look for so it was a pretty simple test. It took 4 weeks for the test to come back and that was after calling the company a number of times. I agree with what the others said. Don't get too worried. It is a good thing the dr is looking into cf, it never hurts to rule things out. Many drs won't test even with tons of symptoms. Most likely with only a few symptoms, she won't have it. Especially if her weight is good.

I don't think it sounds like CF either. But is good to go the whole 9 yards with testing. I too am waiting for diagnosis. Hold you head up and be positive. However, if it comes back negative, i would get other test run for nutrition and pulmonary - different then CF. The waiting is the worst. God bless and I will have you in my prayers.
