Transplant Anniversary

Today is my 8th year post transplant anniversary.

I just wanted to say that I hope everyone appreciates what they have, and I hope that one day CF can be cured. I know some people with CF get very sick; I've been there before, and it's not fun, but keep in mind we all have loved ones, and they are there for us.

Superman,
Congrats! May I ask overall, how has your experience been since tx? Have you had a lot of rejection scares, or was that mainly in the first year or so?
Even if you have had some scares. Being here 8 add'l years vs. not would make it worth it, huh?
Many more to you!

I have had only good health since. I've never experienced rejection, or being sick. The only things I use to get (only happened a couple times) is that I got a fevor because the bacteria in my body became abundant since I'm on Anti rejection/Immunosuppresant medication. That's why having my blood checked still to this day once a month is important... so we can see what levels I'm at. I was 27 years old, and a month later I turned 28.
