I had Liver transplant 3 years ago! But because of the meds I got Lymphoma. I had treatment for it, and I'm fine right now!
Thankfully I'm for the most part "heathy"!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
HI I AM 16 AND HAVE CF I HAVEN'T HAD A TRANSPLANT YET,BUT I AM THINKING ABOUT IT .MY DOCTOR HAS BEEN TALKING TO ME ABOUT IT FOR A YEAR OR SO. I VE DONE ALL THE NECCESSARY TEST AND PAPER WORK FOR IT AND I VE BEEN TO THE TRANSPLANT SPECIALIST ABOUT TWICE.THE DOCTORS THERE HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THE RISKS AND HOW THE SURGERY IS DONE. AFTER THEM TELLING ALL THAT I GOT KINDA OF SCARED BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING VERY EASY , I THOUGHT THEY WOULD JUST REMOVE THE LUNGS AND PUT NEW ONES IN AND SEW YOU UP AND THAT WAS IT BUT IT'S NOT.SO NOW I AM HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS EVEN THOUGH MY DOCTOR SAYS I STILL DON'T NEED IT YET. CAUSE "IT'S LIKE GOING FROM ONE PROBLEM TO ANOTHER"
