The doctors are excellent. I see Dr. Lipson and the cf nurse Marianne is very intelligent, helpful and caring. The whole staff I find pleasant and helpful.

I left a message for Marianne on her voicemail today but she didn't get back me. Are there any other doctors or just him at UPenn?

Would you like her email? And yes there are other cf doctors there.</end quote></div>

No that's ok, she will get back to me tomorrow probably. I know they cater to us CF people.

I am sure you will be very happy there with the care. If you don't hear from her in a reasonable amount of time do not hesitate to call and leave another message for her.

I see Dr. Holsclaw who is with Dr. Lipson. There is another group in town. Hahnemann used to have Dr. Sexaler but now some lady sorry I don't know the name. I believe Diane goes to her.

I've never been hospitalized with Presby so all I can comment on is clinic and I find them thorough and eager to do better and better in these changing times. Marianne is a very busy lady and doesn't seem to have as much support as she should. She'll get back to you though and if she knows you're flexible she can get you an apt. with any of the 3 doctors she 'coordinates.'

Good luck!

Dr. Hadjiliadis also works in conjunction with Dr. Lipson and Dr. Holsclaw (I believe, I might be wrong). He works with CF and transplant patients though... From what I understand both clinics (UPenn tx, and UPenn Presb.) have been extremely busy as of late.
I've never dealt with Marianne but I've heard wonderful things about her..

Dr. Holsclaw and Marianne Ferrin (Nurse Practitioner) are excellent and caring professionals. I have been a patient of Dr. Holsclaw's for over 30 years, first @ Hahnemann, then St. Chris Care and now Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center! Marianne has been there at the CF Center for a few years. She is a very hard-worker, and has been a God-send in terms of getting things done, answering vital questions, etc. She is knowledgeable and a good intermediary when indicated. This is top-notch care.

When Dr. Sexauer left Hahnemann, Dr. Anita Ko took over for him. She is a pulmonologist who is now specializing in cf. I like her a lot.
