upper gi and swallow test

Hello Everyone

Kait had her sinus surgery and her bronch. Everything went well, she now has to go in for a upper GI test and a swallow test because of refluxing. I know these test are pretty simple but i am curious to see if anyone has had to have surgery because of refluxing or aspirating? and if so how is the surgery done and how did you feel after surgery?

This is what our doctors told us:

Both my boys will have a impedance study done soon which is a probe placed throught their nose to their esophagus for 24 hrs to measure reflux. We haven't had it yet, we'll let you know.
