I have tried using Cipro to treat the nonmucoid pseudo that shows up in my cultures. I cant seem to get through the full course of treatment due to escalating side effects once I get passed 2 weeks I get really sick. I have tried Levoquin a few times and was able to finish the 2 or 3 month course but it was not effective enough and the last time I tried it I was having symptoms of having a ruptured tendon. So therefore I was wondering if others have tried the oral ofloxaxin? Or what others have done if the they are not able to take Cipro. I have tried inhaled Tobi and unfortunately the side effects are so severe I cant get through the entire recommended course. I do fine with the inhaled Colistin however even when doubled with the Levequin my cultures dont seem to change.
