I think I am about to use up my FMLA for the year, have had breast cancer surgery, gall bladder hospitalization, pneumonia. Have used 12 weeks. I need to have gall bladder removed and the permanent breast implant put in but I am told that if I run out of FMLA time I will be laid off, put on a perdiem basis and loose all my benefits. does this sound right. I really dont want to have to put off my surgeries until next year.
