Vertex Meds for ddf508

Has anyone heard recently a predicted date for the release of Vertex for ddf508 or am I jumping ahead to believe it will be this easy for its approval? I have heard as early as 2014, but I'm not sure. rosesixtyfive, mother of Sam, ddf508, 4 years old

I don't really have an answer, i just know i'm starting a trial for it within the next few months.

My 16 year old daughter started the trial 3 wks. ago and we were told it will take well over a year to gather the data and get approval for the drug if it shows a significant increase in lung function.

My understanding is VTX 661 is in phase 2 trials now. VTX 809 is phase 3, the plan was to have it in front of the FDA for approval in late 2014.
