Went to clinic...it's good news!

I am so excited and of course, nobody is picking up their phone for me to tell them!!

I went to clinic today for my study visit (aztreonem) and I thought that I was feeling a little better than last month (FEV1% 32)...well, today I was 39%!! and 2.56 Liters of volume! 64FVE%Pred!!

I am so excited because I've haven't been above 32% since November-ish and I thought that I was going to have to move down my baseline. I got sick in March and hospitalized, with all drug complications (Zosyn, Collistin, Tobra, Ceftaz).

So I buckled down, moved my vest into the computer room and have been doing it consistantly.

Turns out...imagine this..>sense the sarcasm<...COMPLIANCE PAYS OFF!! Not to mention I've been mega-stressed at work. Imagine how much higher I can be when the stress goes away and I make it back to the gym!! I'm setting a new goal for the summer! FEV1% 45..that's my goal...that would get me off the transplant radar for a while!! Wohoo!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Thanks Karen, I plan on getting back to the gym and doing more pulmonary rehab.
I have to credit the study drug too. That's some good stuff!
The other good news is that the synergy came back for my resitant strains and combo that will work...I still have a few combos that will be sensative! So I am not "panresistant" <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
