what does this mean??

Anyone know what AGGREGATED means.

I am not too computer saavy and have no clue what this means.

My guess is it means something like collected or totaled

To aggregate data (numbers usually) is to roll (through addition or some other formula) the data up over a hierarchy.

But what that means about this particular database numbers, I have no idea.

I think I have it figured out -- it's how many comments you have on the post -- mine used to say 2 when I had 2 comments and now I have 5 comments and I just checked... it now says aggregated 5 times.
