I think that the one thing that has helped my son the most is working out. He has been able to build muscle and body mass, and he has just improved by leaps and bounds! His attitude is always best after a workout. He is taking a weight training class at school, plus he works out at home. Don't get me wrong, the boy sleeps a lot! Afterall, he's a teenager. lol I know rest is essential to "bouncing back" from illness, but the regular exercise and weight training seems to do the most good for him.

Oh! Yes, drinking anything warm seems to help, too (it at least seems to help clean my throat out, and relax things a bit). I tend to lean toward hot cocoa and Chai tea lattes though ! My dentist suggested sipping anything warm, to help clear the throat and ease the coughing spells of just the crud in the throat when you need a break (like when you are trying to get your teeth cleaned, lol).

Resting as much as possible is the best medicine for me (besides the meds lol).. If necessary i will take a sleeping pill if i am at the point of needing a really good night of sleep... joni
