I was thinking about this today, I have been thru depression and still am going thru it with my health, but I have a really positive attuitude. After a near death experience in 2004 I have been really scared about death, so I am very causious in life worried about everything. Well a month ago my husband and I got a motorycycle and I went to the school and now I drive it. I am nervous and never ever thought I would drive a bike but I feel like I have stepped outta my box and am living life.

So I want to know what you all have done to step outta your box and live life to the fullest.

I stay involved in community outreach opportunities. I make sure that I do something for someone else on a daily basis. This brings me true joy, and reminds me that if I want to see the world most clearly, I need to adjust my eyesight to see beyond the tip of my own nose.

My work does a LOT of charitable work for the local community. I participate as much as I can. Every year at holiday time a bunch of us will go to Target or Wal-Mart and spend a couple thousand dollars on toys for local kids in need. We are the title sponsor every year for the Run for Children's Hospital in Seattle. The proceeds go toward their uncompensated care program. They have a great CF center their. The spokes-kid this year was a CFer! And of course I participate in Great Strides! Those are just the annual events, there are others that come up through out the year too. I don't have a ton of money to donate to charities but I figure that if I go participate through work I can make a small difference for someone.
