WHere Can I get Hypertonic Saline

Hi,

Anyone know where I can get 7 percent hypertonic saline? I can't find a place in SC that will compound it for me...?

You could get Pari Hypersal 7% from your local pharmacy, just ask your doctor for script. It may cost a bit more depending on your insurance, but may be cheaper than having it compounded for you. I've heard some places will not even compound it now, since Pari Hypersal 7% is available. There maybe some legal thing with this.

We just ordered Pari Hyper-Sal a few minutes ago! Under our insurance plan, a month's supply was less than $4.00. We use MedCo.com. Up unit 2 months ago we had it compounded. I like this better - the little ampules are so much more convieniet.

4 dollars?? wow. I have medco as well and paid much more than this several months ago. I think I paid almost 50 for a 3 month supply for Hypersal. I went back to getting the 10% again last time as it is cheaper at just over 5 dollars for a 3 month supply. I will have to check the Hypersal when I need to order again and see if it has changed. The single dose ampules are convienent.
