WORKING OUT

As some of you know I have been working out everyday for the past couple of months. I have been eating healthier and have noticed since starting this my lung issues seem to be improving.

Anyhow........to my question.

When it comes to my bras I spare no expense. I normally go to Victoria Secrets to get them. I think I would be considered a "average" bra size. I am a C cup.

I have noticed while exercising, "normal" bras are not enough. Forgive the mental picture, but I feel like while exercising they are hitting my chin and knees.....lol.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good bra to exercise in??

Thanks

Seana

Hi Seana,

Have you tried sports bras? I use an Adidas sports bra when I jog; however, I am a 34A. I don't have a jiggly problem. LOL! Good luck!

I have actually found some REALLY comfy sports bras at Target and they are cheaper than going to Sports Authority or a sporting goods store. I found some in the fitness section at our Target or in the womens section.

Oh and recommendation - don't go by looks of the bra. I picked one that wasn't so much "fashionable" in my opinion it was one of the least "pretty" sports bras but it turned out to be more comfy than any of the others I tried on.

Good Luck,
Lindsey

I wear my regular bra but then I put on a tight work out shirt, with the sporty-back. But then I have to wear a t-shirt so my bra straps don't show. So it's a lot of layers but that works fantastic for me. (maybe i could lose weight from all of the sweat!)

So Seana, do you have CF and then have a daughter with CF. Maybe I have that wrong or I'm confused or something.

Have fun working out. I'm going today when I'm done here at the office.

I use duct tape.
Except right now I use saran wrap and duct tape.

No, kidding. As a double d-er, I like the sports bras that close with a zipper down the front of them-adidas makes one like that. I also got a no name brand one like that at Walmart. Since I've been preg I've been wearing sports bras all the time b/c my cans have grown even bigger and I'm getting rashes under them from that-yikes. The sports bras are more comfy-though they're not that flattering.

Title 9 Sports has a great selection of sports bras, they can be a bit pricey, but are SO worth it for me (I am a DD). Also, I have had some luck with Champion Bras. Just make sure to look for the "high" motion control or something like that. A good fitting and supportive sports bra is a must for exercise. Good luck!
