I am chronically prone to yeast infections. For me they involve itching and burning and if they get bad, I get very raw and bleed. I don't have any unusual discharge. If it has been a long time since you had a yi, make an appointment to see your doctor (gyn or gp) and they can tell you if it is a yi or a bacterial infection.

You can try an otc yeast medication and see if that gets rid of it. Also step up the probiotics. You can also use PLAIN yogurt as a topical application. It will soothe and the probiotics in there will help. As for a prescription to request, you can ask for diflucan. If OTC meds don't work for me, diflucan usually does.

i got my period too, i called my pcm to see what can be done. i've tried the whole tea tree oil route and that's not working. i started back on the probiotic yesterday and was going to buy yogurt at the store today for me to eat, but they didn't have the kind i like. i'm really picky when it comes to my yogurt i can only eat the yo crunch yogurt. hopefully the doctor's office calls tomorrow to let me know which way we can go.
