    Muscle and Joint Pain/severe exhaustion

I have been declared allergic to all fluroquinalones, because of the joint pain they cause. I will not take them, because they caused pain so bad that I couldn't walk within hours of taking the first dose, and it would last up to a few months after the abx were done. It includes Cipro, Avelox...

Painful Stabbing in the Muscles around the Lungs

It sounds like pleurisy, I had that for about 3 days last March, and it feels exactly like what you're describing. Does taking some ibuprofen help? Regardless, go see your doctor, pleurisy accompanied pneumonia for me. :/

do you ever get better on your own?

Hi Sasha. I'm 19. I went away to college this year, knowing I was sick. Hospitalization wasn't offered to me, but I knew in the back of my mind that I should really be hospitalized. I did all my meds, everything, but in mid-October, I started coughing up blood, and was admitted the next...

please help Looking to make hospital stay better

A selection of teenage movies. I was at a children's hospital. I was REALLY tired of Tangled and the Lion King by day 10. I would also love snacks and stuff that you don't have to request, if that's okay.

What do you wear in the hostpital?

I wore t-shirts, PJ pants or yoga pants, and a sweatshirt, with sock slippers. If I knew I was going to be walking around, I would pull on a pair of jeans, but usually stayed in a t-shirt. I wore a sports bra most days.

    Should I get a wheelchair?

Seattle is wet, damp, hilly and cold. Get a wheelchair, you might feel awkward, but you'll apreciate it when you're going all over downtown.

Picc line at home or in hospital

I've only been hospitalized once. My PICC got a clot; if I had been at home, I would have chalked it up to just having pulled something in my shoulder or something, and it could have been really dangerous. Sooo, I had a week and a half of PIVs, which was another hell. But, I would say stay in...
