Scared my son may have CF

I would also ask the pediatrician for the referal asap. Make sure it is an accredited CF center (the ones in your area can be found on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation website) to make sure the test is done correctly. I'm sorry you are having to go through this too, but should it come back as...

Low blood sugar - late morning

Has your endo scheduled you for an oral glucose tolerance test? I have the midmorning lows, and mine is worse 1) if I overdo my carbs in the morning vs. the amount of insulin I take - I know that sounds backwards, stay with me ; 2) if...

    Gallbladder Surgery Followup Appt

As long as I take it with food (and I think I'm not supposed to take it with my vitamin, which I don't, but it's been so long I forget why I don't take it with my vitamins, lol), I don't have any issues. It can cause a bit of stomach irritation (at least for me, but I have a sensitive stomach...

    Gallbladder Surgery Followup Appt

I am on Ursidoil to thin the bile and drinking lots of water all day to avoid the "bile stones" that can happen after gallbladder removal. I had them once and got a blockage and a resulting infection, and spent some time in ICU a lovely banana color. I don't advise going that route to get put on...

    CFRD

What antibiotic are you on? If it is for inflamation, perhaps that is the clue? Inflamation can make insulin resistance increase, and I know that for me, more inflamation = higher blood sugars. I hope your CFRD stays away!
