I've been drinking alot lately, but only about 1-2 beers a night. Being is I have a kidney stone, I'm doing all that I can to excrete it. But the day after I have a huge amount of gas. It's really uncomfortable. I've looked online and beer has no fat in, so what gives?

Well I hate to fall into a mind-numbing routine, so I like to mix it up a bit. Some days I feel good lung-wise, so I totally skip the treatment; for the morning anyway. I only skipped my digestive enzymes a few times, to prove something to myself, but taking them is as natural as walking.

I use the Hillrom vest. I received the older one at no cost to me, and very recently upgraded to the newer model also at no cost to me. I usually use the full vest, as I feel it contacts all the vital lobes, but ever since I got a kidney stone, I use the chest vest as it only pounds your chest.

I've certainly never heard of CFRD spontaneously "getting altogether better." Even if you make sure you do everything right, you still cannot predict how your CFRD will react. I think mine has greatly improved, I used to require a huge dose of Lantus, now I only take insulin to cover for meals...

Last year I had a DEXA scan and everything was normal, the exception being my hips. They showed osteopenia. My family doc told me to just take calcium supplements, and I took I bottle of Oscal, and that was it. I just thought the fact that I drink a plethora of milk would be sufficient enough...
