Don't know if anybody here can answer this for me, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I need to get more Vitamin D since I ran out and I'm not sure which one to get. I know I talked to the dietician about this a while back and I can't remember what was said. Anyway, I called the clinic today...

I hope you don't mind me asking a question on your post, but I'm curious as far as the cost of the meds. What if a person gets a transplant, but can't afford the meds for afterwards? Is there some kind of help they can apply for? Just wondering.

I'm not a parent, but I have CF and so does my sister. I was diagnosed just after I turned 4. I was diagnosed due to a rectal prolapse. I was also very thin and had foul smelling stools. I remember my mom telling me my diapers were awful and that I was always hungry. I don't really know how...

Well, I'm not a mother of a CFer, but I'm the one with CF. Each person is different, but just wanted to say that we have 5 cats and 2 dogs. I've never had any problems having them around. All of them are indoor pets. They all have free roam of the house. Maybe it's different for children...

I don't really know if the nebs are more effective or not, but for me they are. Inhalers have never worked for me. I usually feel worse after using an inhaler.
