It bothers me that this Mom is looking for other excuses and permission to overrule the Doctor. CF Patients can have many problems that can be detected by a colonoscopy.

Exposed to what!! A cold, allergy or CF. If you don't know the answers to these questions, you need to attend the CF Clinic when he goes there. Ask every possible question there. I will tell you that you can not "catch" an allergy or CF but you can catch a cold. Bill
