oh yeah i forgot to mention... if you do go the home IV route don't forget to bump up your CPT to four times a day! it is crazy hard to do, but if you were in the hospital, that's what they would have you be doing. instead of a respiratory therapist coming and making you do it, you have...

i had to be hospitalized when my baby was three months old (and many times since) he stayed with my mom and dad, who i trust completely, because my husband had to be at work. my hospital would not have let him stayed there with me, and frankly i was tired and not up to taking care of him...
